HD Video Presentation
Image Capture and Display
In order for an Interactive Telepresence solution to function properly, camera and display technology must adhere to the following standards:
- Broadcast (DVD or HD video) quality
- Must support a native wide screen aspect ratio
- Must take into account the size of the screen/images—affects the positioning of the camera, as well as the size of the camera/lens.
- Utilization of ultra-thin monitors for display. These monitors produce a very bright, detailed image - creating a three dimensional portrayal of the video conference members.
- Adaptability of cameras in terms of their ability to point, tilt and zoom, in order to account for the fact that video conference participants, even when seated, are almost always in motion to some degree (gestures, head movements, etc.)
