Telepresence & Privacy
When someone is managing your telepresence or video conferencing environment, how do you know that they are not listening/looking in on the meetings? This is an issue whether a video conference room is managed internally or externally. Teliris as part of its general focus on security has created the VirtuaLive™ Privacy Suite which blocks all flow of video and sound from a conference room to the video network operating center (VNOC). As a result, meeting participants can be assured that they are the only ones seeing and hearing all aspects (video, sound, presentations, audio conference calls) of their video conference. This capability can be passive-the meeting participants control whether it is on or off, or active-automatically turned on at the start of a meeting. If at any time in any conference room, privacy is turned off, a message appears on the displays in all rooms that indicates that the meeting is no longer private.
The VirtuaLive™ Privacy Suite is our way of ensuring that your most sensitive meetings can occur without concern related to information leakage. Even though Teliris signs confidential agreements with each customer and vets (background checks etc.) all of its operating personnel, some of the customers want the extra security.
