Audio Presentation
Preserving the Geometry of Sound
Interactive Telepresence addresses audio presentation with careful attention to the following criteria:
- Microphone placement
- Echo cancellation
- Audio Balancing
- Tone adjustment
- Audio pre and post processing
- Elimination of any electronic noise caused by other electronic devices like PDA's, Blackberries and cell phones
Interactive Telepresence provides audio delivery below the maximum tolerances detectable by the human ear, thus allowing for meeting participants to “talk over” each other as they might during an in-person meeting. Careful attention to microphone placement and audio processing also allows for simultaneous “side conversations,” without interfering with the system’s tolerances. Additionally, Interactive Telepresence provides Audio Vectoring. This enables participants to position the source of the audio and to correlate it to the speaker. This is especially useful for multipoint video conference discussions.
