New York, NY (SEPTEMBER 28, 2005) - Teliris Ltd., the leading provider of life-like videoconferencing services, announced today that Vodafone Group Plc, the world’s leading mobile telecommunications company, is expanding its installation of Teliris’s fully managed, high-performance videoconferencing service called VirtuaLive™. By expanding their implementation of the Teliris service, Vodafone will be able to further its global collaboration from Asia to Europe -- better leveraging senior talent, communicating more effectively and making faster decisions.
With a 99+ percent of technical reliability, VirtuaLive™ delivers the most life-like videoconferencing environment available in the market. VirtuaLive™ is a managed service that provides life-size DVD-quality images and high quality audio, enabling an experience that closely replicates the dynamics of a live meeting. Participants at multiple sites are able to maintain eye contact and observe minute facial expressions as if they were meeting around the same table.

Vodafone is the first company to implement Teliris’ new Distributed Video Extension technology that allows multiple rooms to operate from one central hub. To ensure guaranteed delivery of high quality video and no-delay audio around the world, Vodafone also installed InfiNET, Teliris’s global high performance network.
Teliris virtual collaboration rooms have been an intricate part of Vodafone’s communication infrastructure since 2003 in Tokyo, Dusseldorf and their Global HQ in Newbury [UK]. VirtuaLive™ is now being installed in Vodafone’s Milan location, with a second room in Dusseldorf.
