TELIRIS’ VIRTUAL MEETING EXPERTISE USED BY DREAMWORKS ANIMATION
Teliris, the leading provider of Interactive Telepresence solutions to businesses around the world, announced today that DreamWorks Animation has used Teliris’ virtual meeting expertise in DreamWorks’ development of state-of-the-art video collaboration systems. The DreamWorks created installations are designed to facilitate creative and business collaboration across multiple studio sites around the world. These systems are bringing remote teams together, eliminating the traditional struggles and frustrations associated with standard off-the-shelf video teleconferencing.
A premiere producer of creative content, DreamWorks uses conferencing systems in the creative development process across multiple sites, including brainstorming ideas, artwork reviews, film editing sessions, and traditional business meetings. These new telepresence based systems enable DreamWorks to effectively utilize creative talent across geographic boundaries without the burden of physical travel.
“Teliris’ experience with Interactive Telepresence solutions enabled DreamWorks to accelerate the execution of our vision for a true virtual collaborative environment,” said Ed Leonard, CTO at DreamWorks. “Our systems enable creative teams to work across site boundaries with the same productivity as being in the same room. We have developed something truly unique that is transforming how we do business.”
“DreamWorks is recognized as an innovator in the entertainment industry for their ability to adopt new technologies that enhance the creative process. This is yet another significant advancement in how creative businesses function,” said Steve Gage, Teliris’ Chief Operating Officer. “Our market position as the innovator of these type of next generation virtual meeting solutions allowed DreamWorks to accelerate their development plan.”
