1. Software Engineer NYC
Teliris is seeking a software engineer to design, develop & test new & existing applications. The position will be involved in full life cycle of system development, including procedure, support & deployment; sets up account for new customers defining graphs; managing database & portal for clients; develop store procedure for trend reports as per client specifications in MS/SQL server. Test 3rd party software & deploys new releases for each client; customizes 3rd party software on GUI & database side; responsible for room managing software related issues in test server, VM image & production server; handles all 3rd party software related trouble tickets for clients; designs customized web-pages for clients using Adobe Photoshop; Creates comprehensive docs for client specific reports, production supports & subversion guide.
Must have Bachelor's in Comp Science or related field + 3 yrs exp in position or as Java Programmer.

2. Software Engineer NYC
Teliris is seeking a software engineer who will architect, develop & implement next generation telepresence applications software using Java, Eclipse based IDEs, MSSQL, XML/XSL/XSLT, J2EE frameworks & other technologies. Should be capable of interacting with other business units/teams to gather functional/technical specifications. Perform requirement analysis, establish layered architecture, document use cases. Produce detailed design artifacts using UML/OOAD, apply design patterns & code architecture/integration components. Implement, develop, code, test & integrate software applications involving hardware devices, e.g. router, codecs, AMX etc. Support, monitor and diagnose problems. Take ownership of build and deployment process of modules and projects. Understanding of TCP/IP, telnet, SNMP, ftp, http, SOAP protocol is prefered. Should have strong experience in using application servers including Tomcat, JBOSS, WebSphere. Should be proficient in LINUX/Windows operating systems.
Must have Master's in Computer Engineering or related field with 2+ years experience.
