Teliris Mission Statement
Our mission is to change the way people conduct business on a global scale by providing executives with a commercially viable way to manage Distance Influenced Interaction. We wish to prove to the global business community that Teliris’ telepresence solutions, such as VirtuaLive™, open up possibilities for interacting over significant distances that no other company in the world today can deliver. We want to establish a clear understanding of the category that we refer to as “Interactive Telepresence” and our leadership position within it.
Our Experience
Teliris is a spin-off of technology innovator
Mycroft Inc, a leader in network services, security and identity management.
Teliris was formed in February 2001 in order to leverage the considerable skills and expertise of each company in a series of joint offerings. These were put at the service of Lazard Frères in the autumn of 1999 when the first VirtuaLive™ was designed and installed for their New York, London and Paris executive floors.
Designing and implementing multimedia-enabled networks and applications is a relatively new engineering discipline. Unfortunately, it’s not a simple matter of buying new hardware and just plugging it in. The new generation network design principles are fundamentally different from the layer2/layer 3 philosophy of a decade ago. Few information technology and network services organizations have made the investment in the resources and their development to adequately prepare for this new information technology paradigm. Teliris is the notable exception. No other information technology services company can match Teliris’ credentials in this regard.
